DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION:
HEAD
|
The head is integrally casted from heavy duty closed grain cast-iron. The quill carrying spindle is precisely ground to slide in precisely honed bore.The head can be raised, lowered or swung to any required position by releasing the locking device. A safety ring is proved to prevent accidental unlocking.

DRIVE
|
The splined spindle in deep-grooved ball bearings is driven by an electric motor through VEE Belt of four step pulley properly balanced to prevent vibrations. The additional four speeds are obtained from the gear set. The gears mounted on ball-bearings rotate in self-lubricating sintered bushes housed in four step pulley.The gears are made on gear shaper from best quality materials. |

FEED
|
The hand operated sensible spindle feed is measured by a calibrated feed depth gauge.The quick return of spindle is archived by a coiled spring on cross handle. |

TABLE
|
Properl machined squre table surface is provided with tee slots and can be adjusted vertically by means of rack pinion mechanim. It is also capable of revolving fully through 360 degrees. |
